Testimonials

“Everyone has been raving about your [self-care] workshop and I know I have been using many of the strategies you shared in the past week. Self-care is so important and so often overlooked, thank you for refocusing us on it!”  -K. Johnson

Sandra is “energetic, thought provoking, presented lots of great points and new thoughts to reflect on.”  -K. Hipp

Sandra “is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and honest about her own pathway toward greater mindfulness and self-care.”  – D. Walker

Sandra is very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject (of self-care)! She is also great at reflective listening!     – C. Kelly

Sandra helped me examine some long held habits and beliefs about self care and to assist and support me in stepping through positive changes to improve my overall well-being.

I was able to let go of the belief I didn’t have the time or the “right” to take better care of myself and acknowledging that I cannot accomplish my goals from an unhealthy place.

Sandra is welcoming, empathetic, insightful and supportive; I would recommend her to anyone who is ready to examine unhealthy habits and could use some support getting to a level of healthy that feels right for them. – A. Adams

You can tell that Sandra has extensive study and practice in what she preaches. Her authenticity comes through in her workshops and you can tell she genuinely cares about the well-being of each participant. She presents the material in a way that is accessible to people of all walks of life and that is really effective. I have attended two of her workshops now and come away transformed in powerful way!    – S. Anderson

I came to Sandra’s practice after choosing between this and a more medical model weight loss program.  I began to see that there was so much more to my health narratives than weight. With Sandra I was able to explore how my relationship with food was entwined with my relationship with others.

With Sandra’s help, I set goals that have set the stage for long-term health, not just short term weight-loss that I have experienced many times. The ground-work and soul-work done during our six months has already started to reshape my respect and attentiveness to what my body, mind, and spirit really need and want.

I have learned to recognize when I am spiraling into negativity or holding too tight to a story. I’ve also learned to slow down, breathe, and feel where I am emotionally through my bodily cues.
Sandra is a critically curious guide who questions and nudges with patience and compassion and I would recommend her practice to those wanting to explore the connections between and among the mind, body, and spirit.      -L. Cook
